About VShape Skin Tightening
VShape is a safe and effective, non-invasive heat therapy that delivers thermal heat to sagging or bulging skin. We target and heat fat cells with radio frequency waves. The selected fat cells are disrupted and gradually broken down with zero damage to the surrounding tissue.
The destroyed fat cells are eliminated and the skin is reshaped and tightened. New collagen production is triggered to help the skin stay tighter and smooth with an improved texture.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is vShape Radio Frequency?
vShape is a safe, non-invasive radio frequency technology. It tightens and firms loose skin and shapes and smooths the shape of the treated area. vShape repairs aging and sun-damaged skin. It is highly effective at lifting and tightening the neck, face, arms, legs, abdomen, and buttocks areas as well.
How does vShape work?
vShape uses radio frequency to penetrate the dermal layer of the skin. This then will encourage collagen to regrow so that your skin firms and tightens.
The heat from radio-frequency only penetrates a deep layer of the skin, avoiding the epidermis so that the outer skin is not affected. vShape uses Dual-layer RF Thermotherapy which allows the focused delivery of thermal energy to trigger collagen reproduction. The skin then cools and the result is renewed, revitalized skin that is firm and rejuvenated. Your skin continually produces collagen for around 4 – 6 months after treatments, so there is an ongoing improvement in wrinkles, sagging and, loss of stretch marks.
How long is each vShape treatment and is it painful?
Each vShape treatment is fast and takes about 30 – 45 minutes. The procedure is not painful, but the patient will feel some gentle sensations.
The vShape procedure does not take much time out of a patient’s schedule and is comfortable enough that it does not require anesthesia to perform. Most patients should feel a moderate vibration accompanied with sensations of cooling on the upper layer of the skin and heat on the treated areas each time they feel a pulse.
Does the vShape have side effects or require downtime?
vShape is non-invasive and typically painless, so there is no downtime involved with the procedure.
The treatment is fast and easy. The skin does not have to be lacerated or bruised in the process, so the procedure does not require the use of an anesthetic. The procedure is comfortable for most patients, therefore, they don’t have to be concerned with recuperation time. In fact, patients are able to return to their usual regimens directly following the treatment.
Post-procedure, some patients may experience redness and subtle irritation due to swelling in areas where the skin is thin. In a few days, these effects should subside. Patients are advised to avoid sun exposure during the duration of treatment for maximum effects and to avoid any additional discomfort.
How many treatments are required to see results with vShape?
There are noticeable results after the first treatment, but more treatments will produce maximum effectiveness. We recommend about 6-8 treatments for a particular treatment area.
The first treatment encourages collagen regrowth, which happens gradually so that after each treatment the patient will see continued improvement in their skin. But results are faster with multiple treatments for a particular area of concern. The skin will stay tight, firm, contoured and smooth for much longer.
How long do the effects of the vShape treatment last?
Patients should see the effects of the treatments last between 1 and 3 years.
Each patient is different, so the length of time for results to last varies. Depending on the patient, the procedure may need to be performed intermittently to prolong the effects of the treatment.
Does vShape work well on all Skin Types?
vShape works well on all skin types, even skin of color.
vShape is able to effectively treat different skin types and body types all year, because of the control the technician has with the penetration of the radio-frequency.
What areas are treated with vShape technology?
vShape can treat various areas of the body on the face, neck, arms, legs, abdomen, buttocks, and back.
The treatment can have amazing effects on particular areas of the skin like the neck, inner, outer, front and back of thighs. Other areas that are treated are the upper and lower back, buttocks, waist, abdomen and upper arms.
What is the best way to prepare for vShape treatment?
The patient should also be properly hydrated and be cleansed of any topical oils or creams prior to treatment.
For the most beneficial treatment, the patient should be properly hydrated the day before, day of, and day after each treatment with 80 – 100 ounces of water. They should also refrain from using lotions, creams, and perfumes the day of the treatment.
